Join us on a guided Bangkok riverside walking tour through historic communities and temples along the Chao Phraya River.

We begin with a short local ferry ride across the River of Kings, heading toward the historic Thonburi side of Bangkok. As we glide over the water, your guide shares stories about the river’s importance in Thai culture and daily life.

Our first stop is a serene riverside temple, where we introduce you to Thai customs and beliefs. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to make a traditional offering to the largest seated Buddha in Bangkok — a peaceful and meaningful cultural experience.

From there, we wander along a quiet riverside path, enjoying the cool breeze and views across the water before visiting a historic Chinese shrine filled with intricate details and spiritual symbolism.

We continue into the Kudeejeen community, a 200-year-old neighbourhood shaped by Portuguese heritage. As we explore its maze of small lanes, you’ll see a side of Bangkok that many visitors never experience. We pause at a historic local bakery to enjoy traditional Portuguese snacks with a coffee or cold drink.

Next, we visit Wat Prayoon, home to a remarkable white chedi set within tranquil temple grounds. You can climb inside the chedi, explore its interior, and relax in the shade near the turtle pond.

Crossing back over the river via Memorial Bridge, we take in sweeping views of the bustling waterfront before finishing at Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market. Here, colourful stalls overflow with orchids, marigolds, roses, and jasmine, creating a vibrant sensory experience to end the tour.

Are your tours suitable for everyone?

Yes! As long as you are comfortable walking around 3–4 km at an easy pace, our tours are designed to be relaxed, with a slow pace and regular refreshment stops.

Absolutely! Our tours are family-friendly. Parents must take full responsibility for their children. We recommend booking a private tour so we can tailor the route and pace to suit your family.

How big are the groups?

What should I wear?

We recommend lightweight, comfortable clothing and sensible closed shoes. Please avoid flip-flops or sandals. If your tour includes temple visits, clothing should cover shoulders and knees out of respect.

What do I need to bring?

Just bring a big smile! We recommend avoiding handbags for comfort during the walk.

What happens if it rains?

No worries! Rain in Bangkok is often short and localised. If it rains during the tour, we provide complimentary ponchos and take shelter until it passes.

Do I need to book in advance, or can I just turn up?

Our tours are popular and often fill up, so we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance.

How long does a booking confirmation take?

After booking online, you’ll receive an automatic email confirming we’ve received your request. We will then reply within 12 hours to confirm your tour or suggest an alternative if needed.

Where is the meeting point?

After booking, we’ll send detailed directions by email. Please check your inbox so you arrive at the correct meeting location.

What happens if I’m late?

If you’re running late, please call us at +66 (0)8 7059 1130. The tour may start without you, but we’ll do our best to reschedule you depending on availability.

How do I pay?

Payment is made in cash (Thai Baht only) at the meeting point before the tour begins. Please try to bring the correct amount.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your booking, please inform us at least 24 hours before the tour. This helps us offer spaces to other guests and manage our schedule.
