Siam Sawan Jungle Bike Tour in Bang Krachao Highlights

Join us on a guided Bang Krachao bike tour through Bangkok’s famous “Green Lung,” where nature, village life and quiet pathways replace the busy city streets.

We begin by boarding a small local river boat, crossing the water alongside commuters and residents. As we leave the skyscrapers behind, the landscape transforms into greenery, canals, and quiet village life.

Once across the river, this Bang Krachao cycling tour follows narrow paths shaded by tropical plants and trees. The ride is relaxed and mostly flat, passing wooden homes, small gardens, and friendly local communities — a side of Bangkok many visitors never experience.

We explore Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park, a peaceful green space with lakes, birds, and quiet resting spots. Here, we pause to relax in the shade and feed the fish.

Continuing along a mix of peaceful country-style roads and elevated cycle paths, you’ll ride above mangroves and wetlands, surrounded by greenery and the sounds of nature. The route also passes through park areas and village tracks, adding variety while keeping the ride gentle and relaxed.

Along the way, we stop at a small local shop to sample traditional Thai snacks.

Finally, we return to the river and take the boat back across, watching the green landscape slowly give way to Bangkok’s skyline once more.

This tour offers a peaceful, refreshing look at Bangkok's natural side, local communities, and green landscapes.

Here are the most common questions we receive about our Bangkok bike tours. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Not sure which Bangkok tour is right for you?

Compare all Bangkok bike and walking tours here.

Are your tours suitable for everyone?

Yes! As long as you have some basic cycling experience, our tours are designed to be easy-going, with a slow pace and frequent refreshment stops.

Can children go on the tour?

Absolutely! Our tours are family-friendly. Parents must take full responsibility for their children. We recommend booking a private tour so we can tailor the route and pace to suit your family.

Is it too hot to cycle in Bangkok?

Surprisingly, it’s usually more comfortable than people expect. You’ll often feel a cooling breeze while riding, and Bangkok is very flat, so there are no hills to climb.

Is it safe to cycle in Bangkok?

Many of our guests say they feel safer cycling in Bangkok than at home. Drivers are generally aware of cyclists, especially in groups. Our routes mainly follow quiet back streets and local neighbourhoods, and your guide is always focused on your safety.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Helmets are not mandatory in Bangkok, but we strongly recommend wearing one. We provide helmets free of charge.

How big are the groups?

To prioritise safety and a more personal experience, we limit our group size to a maximum of 8 guests. If you have a larger group, please contact us to arrange a private tour.

What should I wear?

We recommend lightweight, comfortable clothing and sensible closed shoes. Please avoid flip-flops or sandals. If your tour includes temple visits, clothing should cover shoulders and knees out of respect.

What do I need to bring?

Just bring a big smile! We recommend avoiding handbags for comfort while riding.

What happens if it rains?

No worries! Rain in Bangkok is often short and localised. If it rains during the tour, we provide complimentary ponchos and take shelter until it passes.

Do I need to book in advance, or can I just turn up?

Our tours are popular and often fill up, so we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance.

How long does a booking confirmation take?

After booking online, you’ll receive an automatic email confirming we’ve received your request. We will then reply within 12 hours to confirm your tour or suggest an alternative if needed.

Where is the meeting point?

After booking, we’ll send detailed directions by email. Please check your inbox so you arrive at the correct meeting location.

What happens if I’m late?

If you’re running late, please call us at +66 (0)8 7059 1130. The tour may start without you, but we’ll do our best to reschedule you depending on availability.

How do I pay?

Payment is made in cash (Thai Baht only) at the meeting point before the tour begins. Please try to bring the correct amount.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your booking, please inform us at least 24 hours before the tour. This helps us offer spaces to other guests and manage our schedule.
