Siam Ratree Night Bike Tour in Bangkok Highlights

Join us on a guided Bangkok night bike tour as the city transforms into a glowing evening landscape of temples, markets and riverside streets.

We begin with a relaxed ride through Talat Noi, one of Bangkokโ€™s oldest Chinese neighbourhoods. As the sun sets, the area takes on a golden glow, revealing street art, hidden temples, and local life winding down for the day.

We visit a Chinese shrine in Bangkok, where incense smoke drifts through the air and evening prayers create a calm, spiritual atmosphere.

Next, we board a river ferry to cross into Thonburi, Bangkokโ€™s historic former capital. Here, we ride quiet backstreets and tranquil riverside paths, discovering temples and communities far from the busy modern city.

We stop at Wat Prayoon, where the bright white chedi stands out beautifully in the darkness. From there, we cross Memorial Bridge, enjoying sweeping views of the river and skyline.

Back on the Bangkok side, we explore the vibrant Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market, alive with traders, colours, and incredible floral scents throughout the night.

We then cycle past beautifully illuminated landmarks, including views of the Grand Palace area (from outside, as it is closed at night) and the Giant Swing, where your guide shares stories that bring Bangkokโ€™s history and Thai culture to life.

Our adventure finishes in buzzing Chinatown, where neon lights, street food, and market stalls create an electric atmosphere. Here we sit down together for a tasty street-side dinner โ€” the perfect ending to a magical night ride.

Everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable ride:

  • โœ” Friendly, English-speaking local guide
  • โœ” Quality adult bicycles
  • โœ” Childrenโ€™s bicycles (when required)

Here are the most common questions we receive about our Bangkok bike tours. If you canโ€™t find the answer youโ€™re looking for, please donโ€™t hesitate to contact us.

Not sure which Bangkok tour is right for you?

Compare all Bangkok bike and walking tours here.

Are your tours suitable for everyone?

Yes! As long as you have some basic cycling experience, our tours are designed to be easy-going, with a slow pace and frequent refreshment stops.

Can children go on the tour?

Absolutely! Our tours are family-friendly. Parents must take full responsibility for their children. We recommend booking a private tour so we can tailor the route and pace to suit your family.

Is it too hot to cycle in Bangkok?

Surprisingly, itโ€™s usually more comfortable than people expect. Youโ€™ll often feel a cooling breeze while riding, and Bangkok is very flat, so there are no hills to climb.

Is it safe to cycle in Bangkok?

Many of our guests say they feel safer cycling in Bangkok than at home. Drivers are generally aware of cyclists, especially in groups. Our routes mainly follow quiet back streets and local neighbourhoods, and your guide is always focused on your safety.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Helmets are not mandatory in Bangkok, but we strongly recommend wearing one. We provide helmets free of charge.

How big are the groups?

To prioritise safety and a more personal experience, we limit our group size to a maximum of 8 guests. If you have a larger group, please contact us to arrange a private tour.

What should I wear?

We recommend lightweight, comfortable clothing and sensible closed shoes. Please avoid flip-flops or sandals. If your tour includes temple visits, clothing should cover shoulders and knees out of respect.

What do I need to bring?

Just bring a big smile! We recommend avoiding handbags for comfort while riding.

What happens if it rains?

No worries! Rain in Bangkok is often short and localised. If it rains during the tour, we provide complimentary ponchos and take shelter until it passes.

Do I need to book in advance, or can I just turn up?

Our tours are popular and often fill up, so we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance.

How long does a booking confirmation take?

After booking online, youโ€™ll receive an automatic email confirming weโ€™ve received your request. We will then reply within 12 hours to confirm your tour or suggest an alternative if needed.

Where is the meeting point?

After booking, weโ€™ll send detailed directions by email. Please check your inbox so you arrive at the correct meeting location.

What happens if Iโ€™m late?

If youโ€™re running late, please call us at +66 (0)8 7059 1130. The tour may start without you, but weโ€™ll do our best to reschedule you depending on availability.

How do I pay?

Payment is made in cash (Thai Baht only) at the meeting point before the tour begins. Please try to bring the correct amount.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your booking, please inform us at least 24 hours before the tour. This helps us offer spaces to other guests and manage our schedule.
