These are the most common questions that we are asked about our bicycle tours

If you have any other questions please Contact us.

Are your bicycle tours suitable for everyone?

“As long as you have cycling experience then yes. Our bicycle tours are easy going, at a slow pace with frequent refreshment stops. All we can really tell you is that we have safely guided cyclists of all ages between 5 and 85 years of age.”

Can children go on the bicycle tours?

“Yes they can, but as parents, you must take full responsibility for them. When deciding which bicycle tour is most suitable for children please bear in mind the tour duration and whether there is night-time cycling.”

Is it too hot to cycle in Bangkok?

“Surprisingly it’s not, you always feel a cooling breeze whilst cycling so it’s very comfortable. Bangkok is also flat so there are no strenuous inclines on any of our bicycle tours.”

Is it safe to cycle in Bangkok?

“Our guests tell us that they feel much safer cycling in Bangkok than even in their hometowns. Other road users in Bangkok are very aware of cyclists, particularly when in groups. Don’t forget, our tours are mainly along the quiet back streets and your guide will take good care of you.”

Do I need to wear a helmet on a bicycle tour?

“In Bangkok you don’t need to wear a helmet, you will be offered one and we recommend that you wear it.”

How big are your groups?

“Your safety and enjoyment are our main priority so we limit the group size to a maximum of 8 guests. For larger groups we have additional guides and the group may also be split.”

What should I wear on a bicycle tour?

“We recommend lightweight cotton clothes with sensible shoes, please avoid flip-flops or sandals. If your tour includes visiting temples please dress appropriately to cover your arms and knees.”

What do I need to bring on a bicycle tour?

“Just bring what you need, we recommend that you do not take handbags on a bicycle tour.

What happens if it rains on a bicycle tour?

“No problem, in Bangkok it typically rains during the evening or night and it is very localised. If we do get caught out during the tour we provide free rain ponchos and we will take shelter until the sun shines again.”

Do I need to book for a bicycle tour or can I just turn up?

“Our bicycle tours are very popular so we recommend that you pre-book at least 24 hours before the tour date.”

How long will it take to receive a booking confirmation?

“If you make an online booking you will receive an automated reply with Your Booking details. We will reply within 12 hours and either confirm Your Booking or, if your choice is not available, offer you an alternative date or tour.”

Where do we meet?

“We will send you a detailed map on how to get to the meeting point with your Booking Confirmation. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour starts.”
