What We'll Do
Join us for a relaxed Bang Krachao bike tour through Bangkok's famous "Green Lung," where quiet pathways, tropical greenery, and village life replace the pace of central Bangkok.
We'll begin by boarding a small local river boat and crossing the Chao Phraya River alongside local residents. As the Bangkok skyline gradually fades behind us, the atmosphere shifts into a landscape of dense greenery and quieter community life.
Once across the river, we'll cycle along narrow pathways shaded by tropical plants, banana trees, coconut palms, and dense vegetation. The ride passes small homes and peaceful neighbourhoods rarely experienced beyond this side of the river.
As we continue deeper, the environment constantly shifts between elevated cycle tracks, village lanes, canal crossings, and quieter stretches surrounded by wetlands and mangroves. Along the way, we'll pass small local shops, family homes, orchards, and everyday scenes of community life unfolding at a slower pace than central Bangkok.
We'll also explore Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park, one of the area's most peaceful green spaces. Surrounded by lakes, birds, shaded walkways and tropical trees, the park offers a calm place to pause and experience a very different side of Bangkok. Here, we'll relax beneath the trees, feed the fish, and enjoy the quieter atmosphere before continuing the ride.
Along the way, we'll stop at a small local shop to sample traditional Thai snacks while learning more about the local communities that continue to live within Bang Krachao's protected green landscape.
Further along the route, elevated pathways carry us above mangroves and waterways, with the sounds of birds, rustling leaves, and insects. These sections create some of the most scenic and peaceful moments of the experience, especially as the greenery stretches out in every direction around us.
To finish the experience, we'll return to the river and board the local boat back across the Chao Phraya River, watching the tropical greenery slowly give way once again to Bangkok's skyline.
Throughout the tour, we'll show you a greener and more peaceful side of Bangkok shaped by waterways, village life, tropical landscapes, and the slower rhythm that still exists beyond the city centre.
