What Youโ€™ll Experience on the Tour

What We'll Do

Join us for a relaxed Bangkok night bike tour as the city transforms into an evening landscape of illuminated temples, riverside communities, and lively market streets.

We'll begin with an easy ride through Talat Noi, one of Bangkok's oldest Chinese neighbourhoods. As daylight fades, the area takes on a warmer glow, revealing quiet alleyways, hidden shrines, street art, and local life, which gradually slows as the evening sets in.

Along the way, we'll stop at a local Chinese shrine, where drifting incense smoke and evening prayers create a calm, reflective atmosphere amid the surrounding city streets.

Next, we'll board a local river ferry and cross the Chao Phraya River into Thonburi, the historic 18th-century former capital of Thailand. The atmosphere changes here, with quieter streets, canals, and riverside paths replacing the faster pace of the modern city. As we explore, we'll pass by peaceful temples and small local communities that visitors rarely experience at night.

We'll also stop at Wat Prayoon, where the bright white chedi stands out beautifully against the evening sky. From there, we'll cycle across Memorial Bridge, taking in sweeping nighttime views of the river and Bangkok skyline.

Crossing back into the city centre, we'll explore Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market, where the scent of fresh jasmine, roses, and marigolds fills the air as traders move flowers through brightly lit aisles alive with colour and activity throughout the night.

Our ride then continues past some of Bangkok's most beautifully illuminated historic landmarks, including views of the Grand Palace area and the Giant Swing. Along the way, we'll share stories that help connect the city's history, culture, and everyday traditions.

To finish the evening, we'll cycle into the glowing streets of Chinatown, where neon lights, sizzling street food, and busy market stalls create one of Bangkok's most energetic nighttime atmospheres. Here, we'll sit down together for a relaxed street-side dinner before making our way back through the city.

Here are the most common questions we receive about our Bangkok bike tours. If you canโ€™t find the answer youโ€™re looking for, please donโ€™t hesitate to contact us.

Not sure which Bangkok tour is right for you?

Compare all Bangkok bike and walking tours here.

Are your tours suitable for everyone?

Yes! As long as you have some basic cycling experience, our tours are designed to be easy-going, with a slow pace and frequent refreshment stops.

Can children go on the tour?

Absolutely! Our tours are family-friendly. Parents must take full responsibility for their children. We recommend booking a private tour so we can tailor the route and pace to suit your family.

Is it too hot to cycle in Bangkok?

Surprisingly, itโ€™s usually more comfortable than people expect. Youโ€™ll often feel a cooling breeze while riding, and Bangkok is very flat, so there are no hills to climb.

Is it safe to cycle in Bangkok?

Many of our guests say they feel safer cycling in Bangkok than at home. Drivers are generally aware of cyclists, especially in groups. Our routes mainly follow quiet back streets and local neighbourhoods, and your guide is always focused on your safety.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Helmets are not mandatory in Bangkok, but we strongly recommend wearing one. We provide helmets free of charge.

How big are the groups?

To prioritise safety and a more personal experience, we limit our group size to a maximum of 8 guests. If you have a larger group, please contact us to arrange a private tour.

What should I wear?

We recommend lightweight, comfortable clothing and sensible closed shoes. Please avoid flip-flops or sandals. If your tour includes temple visits, clothing should cover shoulders and knees out of respect.

What do I need to bring?

Just bring a big smile! We recommend avoiding handbags for comfort while riding.

What happens if it rains?

No worries! Rain in Bangkok is often short and localised. If it rains during the tour, we provide complimentary ponchos and take shelter until it passes.

Do I need to book in advance, or can I just turn up?

Our tours are popular and often fill up, so we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance.

How long does a booking confirmation take?

After booking online, youโ€™ll receive an automatic email confirming weโ€™ve received your request. We will then reply within 12 hours to confirm your tour or suggest an alternative if needed.

Where is the meeting point?

After booking, weโ€™ll send detailed directions by email. Please check your inbox so you arrive at the correct meeting location.

What happens if Iโ€™m late?

If youโ€™re running late, please call us at +66 (0)8 7059 1130. The tour may start without you, but weโ€™ll do our best to reschedule you depending on availability.

How do I pay?

Payment is made in cash (Thai Baht only) at the meeting point before the tour begins. Please try to bring the correct amount.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your booking, please inform us at least 24 hours before the tour. This helps us offer spaces to other guests and manage our schedule.
