The 3 seasons in Thailand/ Bangkok are Cool, Hot & the Rainy. From December till January is the so called Cool season. February till May is the Hot season with April 26th being the hottest day of the year.
The rainy season is from June to November.
How does the Rainy season affect the daily tours? Tours will depart daily just as during any other season. Rainy season does not mean that it rains the whole day Non-Stop. At most we have 1 hours at the time per day but at most days the rain won’t last longer than 10-20 minutes. The rain is also rather very local. Yes, even within Bangkok it might rain in one district but the next if perfectly dry. If e.g. you are Located at the Marriott Hotel on Sukhumvit and it rains, most likely there won’t be any rain where we are located. And we are only 10 minutes away.
In case it really does not stop raining or we are caught in the rain during a ride we always have Rain Coats with us. In most cases we shelter for 10 minutes and carry on.
The best thing about the rain in Bangkok is that it is not cold. Consider it like a warm shower.
